Magnum
Automation products bring standard Ethernet to the factory and
shop floor. Their small packages fit on control room walls or inside of a
control box in production areas where they are
typically co-located with factory automation, production
control, PLCs, and process control equipment.
The
Magnum Factory Floor products have been designed for
Industrial use and include a wide selection of Ethernet,
routing, and serial products. Fiber ports are integrated
in most products, supporting factory distances as well as
providing noise immunity and future-proof bandwidth.
Magnum products are UL, CE, and FCC tested, have high MTBF (Mean Time Between
Failure), come with AC power input (optional 24VDC or -48VDC),
DIN-rail mounting,
Conformal
Coating (optional), and offer many unique features (including
Industrial PoE Switch models) that can make
factory LAN applications
efficient and cost effective.
Now, the Magnum MNS-6K MIB has been extended
to support ABB's 800xA Aspect Object Architecture for industrial
control systems, and has been tested for ABB Industrial
Compliance by ABB Industrial Automation in Vasteras, Sweden.
